North Curry Football Club youth teams play on the pitches on Saturdays and Sundays during the season.
Hiring a pitch? The Village Hall next door has toilets and changing rooms with showers, including accessible showers, for teams and officials. Showers are turned on by request for an additional fee, price on application.

Our Treasurer, Peter Headington, catches up with Vince from North Curry Football Club about what it really takes to keep Fivehead Park's pitches match-ready.
Marking the lines, cutting the grass, keeping the mower going and a few determined rabbits. The work most of us never see.
Fêtes, sports days and marquees
The recreation ground is ideal for outdoor events, with the Village Hall next door for toilets, the kitchen and shelter if it rains.
- Outdoor music needs our agreement in advance and may have volume limits
- Electrical equipment outdoors must be agreed, with weather-safe cabling; generators need prior approval
- Use of the recreation ground needs a risk assessment
- Marquee: price on application, subject to availability
- Extra parking may be available on the recreation ground when it is dry and free

Photos appeal: show us the Village Hall and Park at their best
We need good-quality photos of past events, such as weddings, parties, classes, shows, fêtes and matches, and of new things as they happen. Old or new, if it shows the Village Hall or the Park at their best, we would love to see it. If we use your photo, we will credit you by name on our photo credits page.
